Dear Parishioners

Thursday, the first of September, is designated a world day of prayer for the Care of Creation. There doesn’t seem to be a more worthy cause for us to pray;

In thanksgiving first of all for the incredible gift of creation and our place in it, in sorrow for the damage we are doing to creation for instance, through the waste and pollution that we are responsible for, in supplication and in hope for the political resolution to address the issues and to find healing for our planet, and finally in adoration of Christ who has taken his place in the midst of Creation, the alpha and the omega.

Having said all that, why wait till Thursday, and why not pray every day?!

God Bless,                                                                         Fr Doug
