Synodality – an unfamiliar word about “walking together” as Church. Just now, there is consultation about how consultation should work! It is important for the church to get the processes and responsibilities correct. Where do we fit in? We can’t keep blaming bishops or clergy for mistakes!
SYNODALITY WORKSHOP –
Wednesday 30 September 13.00-14.30 (approx.). Come, have your say on how the church, both the people and establishment, can walk together developing our faith and mission.

SEASON OF CREATION Film Screening: As part of our celebration of the Season of Creation, we invite you to a screening of the People’s Emergency Briefing on Friday October 2nd at 7.00 in our Hall. A presentation on climate change and environmental challenge, followed by discussion about how communities can respond.

HARVEST FESTIVAL: Our Harvest Festival is also on Sunday 4th October, at 10.30 mass. We are collecting non-perishable food and other essential items from now on for the Manna Day Centre. For a list of most needed items please visit: http://www.mannasociety.org.uk Please place items on the sanctuary. 90% of their foodstuffs are donated so are therefore critically important to them.
“HOW DO WE PRAY?” An experiential programme called Teach Me to Pray facilitated by Southwark Diocesan Spirituality Commission. It will be online on Tuesdays, starting 6th October from 7pm to 8.15pm. After 4 online sessions there is an invitation to an in- person Reflection Day in a diocesan Retreat Centre on 5th or 12th December. There is no commitment to attend all sessions – join us whenever you can.
