 Dear Parishioners,

May I repeat my invitation:

I shall be 70 during the previous week! (The 9th

To be clear, a few years ago the Parish celebrated my Ruby Jubilee of Priesthood. I think that it was appropriate for the Parish to celebrate such an event of the Church.

My birthday is different, and isn’t particularly a Church or parish affair. I simply want to treat you all to a drink (Wines and soft drinks) to celebrate with me. I hope you might accompany me in a prayer of thanksgiving, but please nothing else! Your presence will be my present!

Meanwhile,

Please welcome our Franciscan brother saying Saturday mass while I am officiating at a wedding.

              God Bless,                                                Fr Doug

APPEAL:  We have all seen the terrible scenes of disaster in Nepal and Tibet. We have the opportunity to express our solidarity in our retiring collection to support the disaster fund.

CONGRATULATIONS:  Nuria and her sister Olivia will be received into the Church at 10.30 mass this weekend.

They will receive the three Sacraments of Initiation, namely, Baptism, Confirmation and Holy Communion. Thanks must go to our parish junior catechist for her hard work.

SEASON OF CREATION September 1 – October 4

A time for Christians to focus prayer and action in defence of God’s creation.

The Symbol for 2026 is Immersion in Living Water

The call is for transformation – that Christians would be immersed in the living water flowing from the throne of God- stepping in deeper and deeper, inspired by the Spirit of God, working together for the renewal of Creation.
