Dear Parishioners
Congratulations to all those who begin receiving Holy Communion this weekend. It is a great occasion for the whole parish to celebrate as we see our Commuion grow. Huge thanks must go to the families who have prepared their children for this and to our catechists who have supported them. A special word of thanks to a special teacher who has supported one young person who has learning difficulties.
Meanwhile Covid still causes concern. I have been advised that I no longer need to wear a mask when I distribute Holy Communion but wearing masks in “close quarters” is still recommended as is having a regard to hygiene with our hands. We will be reintroducing the collection baskets soon.
God Bless, Fr Doug
BARN DANCE
Congratulations to all involved in organising what was a really good social evening in which everyone could take part, and thanks to everyone who came along to support. £556 was raised.
