BAKE AND DONATE FOR UKRAINE – Thank you to everyone, who baked, donated and supported our fundraiser for Ukraine on Sunday.
We raised £506 on the day and a further £206 was given in the retiring collection so the total amount raised is £712 which is amazing. ANNIVERSARY OF THE 1982 VISIT OF POPE St John Paul II To St George’s Cathedral
There will be Mass with Anointing of the Sick on 28 May 2022 at 12.30 PM
Archbishop John Wilson will celebrate Mass to mark the fortieth anniversary of the visit of St John Paul II to our Cathedral. During this celebration, the sacrament of anointing of the sick will be administered, as it was on the occasion of St John Paul II’s visit. Parishes are invited to select two people (per parish) who might attend this celebration at the Cathedral as representatives of their parish and receive the sacrament of anointing. Please contact Fr Doug by Sunday May 1st if you would like to attend. If there are more than 2 wishing to go, we will have a random selection procedure – a lucky dip!
