OUR LADY’S FILM EVENING: Wednesday 21st September. Part 1 of a 2 part movie on St Rita of Cascia. The patron saint of hopeless situations is immortalized in this deeply inspiring movie. Rita, a brave and loyal woman helps her husband overcome his dark past and convert to the Faith, happily bears him children and later endures immense pain as she loses everything. Rita finds new hope through a convent of sisters and develops an inspiring union with Christ. Second part (including a re-cap) on Wed 5th October – watch either or both parts. Bar open, all welcome, 7pm for 7.30pm start.
SEPTEMBER IS SVP AWARENESS MONTH: “Just do it. Make time for it. We can all make a bit of time. It might mean less telly watching, but we will meet people who will pull us through”. (SVP Patron John Battle’s words to anyone who wants to become an SVP Volunteer.)
