This weekend we celebrate with Louie Aletta, Rafel Batey, Victoria Hackett, Rhys Jones, Isabel Sendon Vicente, Jose Luis Sendon Vicente, and Charlie Smith who will begin receiving Holy Communion. Unfortunately with the current restrictions this will be taking place at two separate masses and so we cannot all be there with them at this sacred time. We nevertheless keep them and their families in our prayers. I offer a big thank you to our catechists who assisted the families in preparing their children for this very special occasion.
May I confirm that the new government advice on gatherings respects our right to gather for mass in the numbers previously agreed. There has been no change in that regard though we will have to give more thought to our aim to open the hall for coffee after Sunday mass!

• Those who attend must wear a facial covering. (Exemptions apply)
• Everyone will be guided to their seats by our stewards so please arrive early.
• There will be no toilet facilities available.
• Anyone who is unwell should not attend.
• You will be asked to give your name and a contact detail so that we can participate in the track-and-trace scheme that the government is running

STEWARDING
We are very grateful indeed to the stewards who have volunteered to staff the church during these times. One will be in the porch to give instructions and others will be in the church to supervise and to usher. They will also help cleanse the church after Sunday masses.
Please ring John Rayer (01322 523499) if you are available for any of the Sunday masses.
HALL
Any users, whether they be parish groups or a private hirers will have to complete their own risk assessments and satisfy diocesan insurer’s conditions independently. The measure will include cleansing before and after use.

THE SEASON OF CREATION
runs from 1 September (World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation) to 4 October (the feast of Saint Francis of Assisi) each year. This ecumenical season is dedicated to prayer and action for the protection of creation, our world. Let us join together in prayer during this time to renew our relationships with God our Creator, and with all creation (CAFOD).
