THE ECTOPIC PREGNANCY TRUST: This year I’m hoping to complete the ETP100, which is to run a distance of 1000 miles within the space of 12 months. I started on 1st January this year and so far have run over 300 miles. As part of this, on 28th April 2019, I will be running in the Virgin Money London Marathon. I’m doing this to raise money for The Ectopic Pregnancy Trust. Larissa and I have experienced ectopic pregnancy twice. It really is terrible to go through the joy of finding out that you’re expecting a baby and then to be told that it’s growing in the wrong place, and there is nothing that can be done. If you would like to sponsor me, or know more about The Ectopic Pregnancy Trust please visit my web page:
https://virginmoney.giving.com/RobOh Thank you. Rob O’Halloran

DATE FOR YOUR DIARY – Sunday 7th July to mark St. John Fisher Day, following the 10.30 Mass. More details to follow. Thank you. Anne Rayer

BRILLIANT ? Well, we all were! What a great parish evening we had last Saturday at our Quiz Night. Well done to Cliff Thomas for calling us together, and thanks to everyone who supported in different ways but especially by participating. Over £900 was raised!! This is most welcome indeed, given the substantial financial losses the parish has incurred over recent years. It will be, as we said at the annual parish meeting, a great thing when we can run with a surplus so that we can actually invest in our parish community. Fr Doug

CHURCH FLOWERS: Thank you for your continuing support for our flowers in the church. With Easter approaching please remember our collection box in the wall near the church doors for any contributions towards the ever increasing costs. Sue Murphy
