Like Melchizedek of old we bring bread and wine to the altar and Christ transforms it into his own body and blood for the life of the multitude of the redeemed.

LES TRUMAN (RIP): The Truman family would like to let you know that their dear Dad, Les (husband of Tess), passed away peacefully on Thursday 13th June. The funeral will take place at St John the Evangelist, Bexley, on July 11th at 10.30am..

LESNES ABBEY: Procession of the Blessed Sacrament takes place on Sunday 30th June at 3pm. Please pray that we have a fine day. Please join us if you are able to.

CREATION CELEBRATION PILGRIMAGE, SATURDAY 22ND JUNE 2019: Join us for a 3-4 mile walk in the Kent countryside to pray and reflect on how climate change affects the poorest overseas and inspire each other to take action. Meet at 12.30 pm at St Francis de Sales Catholic Church, White Friars, Church Road, Hartley, DA3 8DW. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available but please bring a packed lunch. ST JOHN FISHER DAY, SUNDAY 7TH JULY, 12 NOON TO 4PM: This is a PARISH EVENT, with any monies raised to go to the Parish Maintenance Fund. Tickets are now available – £6 per adult, £3 per first child which will include BBQ, salad, dessert/cake. We hope that all parishioners will try to come as it is a great opportunity for the parish to get together.
