Today we celebrate the great day of Pentecost when Christ filled the Church with the power of his Spirit and sent it out into the world to bring his peace, joy and forgiveness to all mankind.

OLD BEXLEY SUMMER MUSIC FESTIVAL – 16 June to 7 July. Presented by Churches Together in Old Bexley, we are proud to offer 11 concerts of Choral Evensong, traditional and contemporary folk songs, Musicals, Disney classics, Jazz and Big Band sound. All events are free of charge with donations taken on the evening to cover costs. St. John Fisher is hosting the great fun Bexley Ukulele Group – the only group booked to come back every year. Our concert is on Friday 21st June at 8.00 pm in our Hall. Help with refreshments on the evening would be much appreciated. Poster in porch or find us on Facebook/OldBexleyMusicFestival. FIRST HOLY COMMUNION 2019
Our parish First Holy Communion Service will take place on Sunday 9th June at 10.30am.
This year we have seven candidates. They are:
Chloe Frost, Noah Grecula, Olivia Ireland, Elisa Meade, Harry Preece, Harini Surasingha and Emma Whiffen.
The communicants have been working very hard since January in preparation to receive the Blessed sacrament for the first time. They are very special children.   Please remember them in your prayers.

We are walking and visiting each of our nine Churches praying for the people, schools, communities and businesses of Old Bexley – meet old and new friends while enjoying a pleasant walk. Starting from St John Fisher at 9.30am join us from the start or from one of the other churches en route, stay for the whole walk or just one Church.
