However cruelly the world may treat us, we can always rejoice in the glorious future

JUBILEE YEAR OF MERCY: Parish prayers of thanks for the blessings of the Jubilee Year will be offered at all Masses on Saturday 19th and 20th November, and 10.30am mass will be adapted to suit the closing of the “Year of Mercy”. We hope to make it a festive occasion that brings together members of the community, both young and old, with a chance to shop and socialise. OUR LADY OF THE ANGELS TABLE SALE on Saturday 5th November 10am to 3pm – in aid of MacMillan Cancer Care. All welcome to come along and browse for some bargains. We are combining this with a MacMillan Coffee Morning (and afternoon!. There will be coffee, tea and cakes, bacon rolls and sausage sandwiches. This week is World Mission Sunday and the second collection is for Missio, the Pope’s official charity for overseas mission. Many parishioners will remember it as the Association for the Propagation of the Faith – APF – whose red collection boxes have been a feature, over the years, of so many Catholic homes.

ALBANY PARK BAPTIST CHURCH: Please keep our fellow Christians in your prayers as they celebrate their 75^th anniversary.
