Christ Breathes Into Us His Living Spirit

Today we open ourselves to Christ’s life-giving Spirit. We pray too for those who are to be given the new life of the Spirit in baptism this Easter.

CHARITY CONCERT AT ST ANSLEM’S: Dig Deep Charity Concert at St Anselm’s Church in Dartford, on Saturday 9th April raising money to provide sustainable water supplies to schools and rural communities in Kenya. SVP GROUP: LENTEN APPEAL: The SVP Group wold like to say thank you to all parishioners for your generous giving to their Lenten Appeal. The amount raised was £236.38.

LENT PENITENTIAL SERVICE: There will be a Lent Penitential Service on Monday 10th April at Our Lady of the Angels, Erith at 7.30 pm.

GOOD FRIDAY STATIONS OF THE CROSS: Every Good Friday for over twenty years, the Churches and Parishioners of Old Bexley have come together to pray the Stations of the Cross. At 12 noon on Good Friday, 14th April, the service will be hosted by St John the Evangelist, Parkhill Road, Bexley DA5 1GX – next to Golden Acre Park. All are warmly welcome. We walk in the darkness of this world, often assailed by fear and misgiving. But Christ, the Shepherd-King, the second David, lights up our way for us and cures our congenital blindness as he leads us to his kingdom.
