MEETING PLACE: This is a wonderful club that is run on Wednesdays in the Church Hall 9:30am to 1:30pm.  Here one can enjoy congenial company, friendly helpers, sandwiches, cake, tea, coffee and wine.  It is very much enjoyed by all and is a brilliant example of the way local volunteers operate together for the benefit of the community.

Sadly, over the years since it was established, time has taken its toll on the number attending and there is a lack of new members. So, if you are looking for a chat or just a cup of tea why not come one Wednesday morning. Bring your friends and spread the word about a club that is available to all.

If you would like to come, but have mobility problems let us know and we will try to arrange transport. That brings me to the second part of my appeal – we are short of drivers and helpers. If you feel you can give a little time on Wednesdays and would like to volunteer to drive or assist, please call Noel at Pomfrey Accountants 9am to 5pm Monday to Thursday on 01322 315755.  Your help would really be appreciated.  Tony Creed

QUIZ NIGHT HELD LAST SATURDAY The quiz night attracted over 100 parishioners, families and friends to a most enjoyable occasionl Everyone was very generous with £600 being presented to the two representatives from the Bexley and Dartford Samaritans, who were overwhelmed by the sum. Prizes were given to the AIC team who won the event by overtaking on the last round. The balance of £173 was given to the Parish for its funds. Our thanks go to Cliff Thomas who organised the event, devised and asked the questions ably supported by a band of willing helpers.
