WEEK OF PRAYER FOR CHRISTIAN UNITY is traditionally observed by Christians around the world from 18-25th January – the Octave of St Peter and St Paul.  Churches Together in Bexley warmly invites you to our annual Unity Service on Sunday 21 January kindly hosted by St John the Evangelist, Penhill Road, DA5 1HX at 3.00pm with light refreshments afterwards. Now, more than ever, with Christianity under attack around the world, we need to show we can live Our Lord’s Prayer “That they may be one”.  Kathy Fogarty, Parish Unity Contact.

OUR LADY’S FILM EVENING Wed 24th Jan: (Christian Unity Octave) documentaries on a) Shroud of Turin, and b) St Augustine of Hippo, the most influential Saint, Father and Doctor of the Church (as background to April & May’s 2-part movie).   Bar open, all welcome 7pm for 7.30pm start. SPECIAL EVENT: Fri 26th Jan: fish-n-chips social evening, bar, and testimony of radical conversion of Mr Robin Mace. We hope that all past, present and future attendees of film evenings will attend.
