I wonder, if like me, you have had your fill of the grimy, ugly goings-on within the leadership of our country. I am bored with it, fed up with it and even angry about it. The perfect antidote is to get out and see the beautiful coloration of the trees around us as they head into autumn, every shade of yellow and orange and rusty brown. Quite magnificent. DIOCESAN DAY FOR CATECHISTS – ALL CATECHISTS! 

Archbishop John is VERY keen that all catechists from the diocese join him for this special day on Saturday, November 12th at the Amigo Hall.  There is a letter of invitation for each one of you in the Church foyer.  Please let Fr. Doug or Barbara Asaam know if you plan to attend because we have to pay for you!

 

MISSION SUNDAY/APF Missio

HOW TO USE DONA COLLECTION PLATE (DCP) – LOCATED IN THE PORCH

Select a donation amount by pressing one of the amounts.  The card reader screen will read “Please Tap”, select the amount you wish to donate, then tap your card or phone on the card reader.  This will collect the payment. Easy. 

For a donation value greater than £100 (!!), the card must be inserted at the top of the card reader.   The card reader screen will read “Please Tap” with the selected payment amount.  To cancel a transaction before completion, simply press and release the power button on the right-hand side of the card reader.  This cancels the transaction and declines the payment.

 

AUTUMN SPIRITUALITY PROGRAMME CONTINUES

Our spirituality committee have organised our programme: Ways into Prayer. Meetings at: 7.30 – 9 on Mondays Oct 31, Nov 14, 28, and repeated at:1 – 2.30 on Mondays Oct 24, Nov 7, 21, Dec 5.
