Dear Parishioners
We have endured another week of disheartening news from Ukraine alongside many moving stories of real love in action with such a wonderful response in many countries to the desperate plight of refugees. There seems to have been solidarity across large parts of the world. Who knew what the Ukrainian flag looked like prior to this crisis? People from so many nations have expressed their support both politically and practically. It is a marvellous grace that such solidarity across humanity should be made manifest. The light of goodness cannot be hidden or extinguished.

All donations welcome so please get baking! Cakes, biscuits, muffins, sausage rolls, anything you can muster and please spread the word, we want to raise as much money as possible. We would like to build our own parish group to help increase awareness of development issues and to support ther good works conducted in our name around the world. So watch this space for further information.

Please register now at www.stellamaris.org.uk/modernisation to join online on 23 March at 7.30pm to hear how shipping has changed in the last century, the impact this is having on seafarers today, and the important role Stella Maris has in supporting them.
