RACIAL JUSTICE SUNDAY 2020: This weekend is Racial Justice Sunday. The theme is “You are at the heart of the Church”. We celebrate the contribution travelling communities make to the Church. It is an opportunity for all Catholics to pray for, reflect and respond to racial justice matters within the Church and wider society.

YEAR OF THE WORD: This year the Catholic Church in England and Wales has launched the Year of the Word initiative. The church invites all its members to deepen their relationship with God through discovering and renewing a genuine love for the Word of God, in order to live God’s word in our everyday life.
We welcome parishioners of all ages, from 18+ to join our new Parish Word of Life Group. We will meet monthly to read the words of the Gospel and share experiences on how we have been inspired to put ‘Faith into action’ and live out Jesus’s commandment to love one another, in a spirit of family and unity.
If you wish to join a group, please indicate our preferred day by contacting Elisa Puzzolo on 07565 613 867, email: elisapuzzolo@gmail.com by Monday 17th February.
Options for the monthly meetings held at the Parish include:
      (i) Sunday after the 10.30am Mass.
      (ii) Sunday afternoon
(iii) Weekday evenings such as Monday or Wednesday at 7pm.
Alternative dates and time can also be arranged. Childcare options will be explored if parents with young children wish to join the ‘Word of Life’ Group.
The first meeting will take place in March. We look forward to starting this journey together!
