TWENTY-SEVENTH SUNDAY OF THE YEAR (C)
First Reading: Habakkuk 1: 2-3, 2: 2-4, Second Reading: 2 Timothy 1: 6-8, 13-14
Gospel: Luke 17: 5-10
Today’s Theme: Our Faith
Faith gives us a new vision of the world. Without it we see only the darker side of life. We are still slaves. It is faith which liberates us and makes us see the Spirit of power and love at work in our lives.

CAFOD: Thank you for listening last week to the talk on clean and accessible water. Do bring your envelopes to Mass and if you are a taxpayer, do fill in the gift aid form on the envelope. If you have forgotten your envelope, please ask the ushers for one. Many thanks for your generosity.
KAY LYONS: At the 10.30 mass last weekend I had the chance to thank Kay Lyons formally for all the hard work she has done over decades in overseeing the bookings for our hall. I am happy to do so again in this newsletter. Bookings are now being managed through the parish office. Please think of using our hall for any functions you may have. Fees are £30 per hour or £35 at weekends. Fr Doug
