The Lord Gathers a People to Himself

Today, as sons and daughters of God we submit ourselves to his loving discipline, remembering that it was not just the Jews, nor will it be just Christians whom the Lord will gather to himself. Many more worthy than us will come from East and West to share the banquet of his kingdom.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED PLEASE FOR GARDENING DAY on Saturday 31 August. We will be preparing the flower beds in front of the church for planting roses in the Autumn. If you can spare a couple of hours, we hope you will join us. Weather permitting, we will meet outside the church after 10.00am mass. Please bring your own gardening tools. PARISH BARN DANCE: You are cordially invited to join us for our Parish Barn Dance in the church hall on Saturday 14th September from 7.30 until 11.00 pm (bar open from 7pm). Great fun for all the family. No experience necessary! If you wish, please bring your own nibbles. Tea/coffee and cake will be served during the interval. Ticket numbers are limited and selling fast.
