THIRD SUNDAY OF EASTER
In this eucharist we proclaim that Christ is the Lord, the Lamb that was sacrificed and who is worthy to be given power, riches, wisdom, strength, honour, glory and blessing. The Apostles accepted every kind of humiliation rather than give up proclaiming his name.

NEW READERS PLEASE If anyone would like to volunteer as a new reader, especially for our Saturday 6pm Mass, please contact Fr Doug or Kathy Fogarty. Being a reader is an important ministry in the life of our Church. Yes, your legs will shake the first few times, but I have found it a wonderful way to gain confidence and a deeper knowledge of Scripture and Liturgy. Current readers please note that during May we will pray “Hail, Holy Queen” instead of “The Hail Mary” after the Bidding Prayers. Kathy Fogarty 07963 454480 or k.fogarty@ntlworld.com.
CERTIFICATE OF DONATIONS Please collect your letters for the tax year 2018\2019 from the back of the church. Thank you for your generosity.
THE ECTOPIC PREGNANCY TRUST: This year I’m hoping to complete the ETP100, which is to run a distance of 1000 miles within the space of 12 months. I started on 1st January this year and as part of this, on 28th April 2019, I completed the Virgin Money London Marathon. I’m doing this to raise money for The Ectopic Pregnancy Trust. Larissa and I have experienced ectopic pregnancy twice. It really is terrible to go through the joy of finding out that you’re expecting a baby and then to be told that it’s growing in the wrong place, and there is nothing that can be done. If you would like to sponsor me, or know more about The Ectopic Pregnancy Trust please visit my web page:https://virginmoney.giving.com/RobOh Thank you. Rob O’Halloran.
