PARISH CABARET EVENING: Last Saturday’s Cabaret event wasa most enjoyable evening. Singers, musicians and monologues provided great entertainment. Over £500 was raised specifically for the Church Maintenance Fund. Thanks to Carol Anderson, along with Anne Rayer and the Events Team and others and we thank everybody for their support..
CHURCH HEATING REPAIRS: Work to install a new heating pipe in the church is due to start on Tuesday. It is hoped it will be completed in two or three days. As the church will need to be closed for those three days Mass on Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning, together with the Eucharistic service on Thursday, will be cancelled. Hopefully the church will re-open on Friday. Provided there are no problems the second part of the work – cleaning the system – will be carried out on the following Thursday which means the Eucharistic service will be cancelled.

OUR LADY’S FILM EVENING – Wednesday 25th April, Part 1 of a 2-part movie on the incredible life of the great saint St Augustine of Hippo as he rose from his reckless days as a youth to become a most highly influential Father and Doctor of the Church. Second part (including a recap) on Wednesday 9th May. Watch either or both parts. Bar open, admission free, all welcome, 7pm for 7.30pm start.
