THIRTEENTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME (A)

Today’s Theme: Welcoming Christ

We welcome Christ today as the women of Shunem welcomed the prophet Elisha.   But the Christ we welcome is the Christ who gave his life for others, and our celebration would be a mockery if we were not prepared to welcome him in one another, even in the least of his brethren.
