Dear Parishioners,

FIRE!!

A word that catches our attention hopefully. If for any reason we have to evacuate the building we need to do so quickly (under 3 minutes) and safely through the MAIN ENTRANCE. That’s why we need to practice once a year. When the Presider (usually me!) asks you to leave the building, in a real event please leave the area as soon as possible making space for the arrival of emergency services, but in a drill feel free to wait around and re-enter when the drill is over. Please cooperate with our stewards. (There is no muster point because there is no register of those in church.) Stewards will check the building (incl toilets) to ensure everyone has left the building.

I am hoping that as I write this work in the hall and its toilets will have been completed and we can enjoy our communal space once more, but with upgraded decor.

I fetched Fr Peter home on Monday and he looks forward to joining us all again.

                               God Bless,                                                Fr Doug

NINA SREDSKI RIP

We are most grateful to Nina who remembered the parish in her will. It was a generous thing to do and obviously, it would be a good thing for anyone to do, when making a will! May she rest in peace and rise in glory.
