Dear Parishioners,

Today is known as Laetare Sunday – “Rejoice”. The vestments and newsletter are rose coloured (pink by any other name!) Traditionally, this fourth Sunday was considered a day of relaxation from the normal rigors of Lent. It was a day of hope with Easter now within sight. Not a bad idea then, to look ahead to Easter and commit to some or all of the special services – Mass of the Lord’s Supper on Maundy Thursday (8p.m.), the Good Friday Liturgy (3p.m.) or the Easter Vigil (8p.m.)

                                  God Bless,                                                Fr Doug
