Many have fasted and prayed this week in solidarity with millions around the world, begging for the inspiration needed for peace and for justice in Gaza and Israel. It seems a long way off but that just means we must pray all the harder.

COLLECTION FOR MISSION SUNDAY 

Deferred from 22^nd October till this weekend

If you have a Red Box, please empty it and put the collection in an envelope with your name on it.  If you do Gift Aid you can use a Gift Aid envelope. It will be submitted along with the retiring collection for APF today. Any problems please contact Sue Mantle 07955416185

 

ARCHBISHOP’S APPEAL:  This retiring collection next week funds three key mission areas: Youth and Evangelisation, Our Faith In Action and Clergy care and formation.

 

QUIZ NIGHT:  11th November. Please do make every effort to attend. You do not need to be a team before the event. Everyone coming along will be able to join a team. The bar will be open and feel free to bring your own nibbles. Quiz + Raffle. Tickets will be on sale after mass. 

 

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION 2024

Application forms are now available for the First Holy Communion programme 2024. Baptised children in year 3 or above are eligible to apply.  Forms can be collected from the entrance porch or please speak to Father Doug or Angela Underwood after mass.  Completed application forms must be returned by 1st December 2023.  The programme will commence in January 2024. 

 

RONNIE ASPEEK RIP

Please pray for the soul of Ronnie Aspeek. His funeral will be here on Monday 30^th October at           11:15am. May he rest in peace and rise in Glory.
