Dear Parishioners,

I am sure that we all wish our women’s football team the very best as the Lionesses take on the very good Spanish side in the world cup final. They have brought a great deal of cheer to our country over these recent weeks. God has to pretend to be impartial, but I know for a fact that He supports the English team!?! But win or lose, and whether we are given a bank holiday or not, it will be a great occasion for us all to enjoy.

God Bless,                        Fr Doug
